Mahmud is a entrepreneur from Liberia interested in creating opportunities for youth to realize their full potentials through entrepreneurship and education. In 2013, He started J-Palm, an oil palm processing company, that currently provides employment opportunities for over 42 young Liberians.

Mahmud is a 2013 graduate of Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH, USA, where he studied Economics, and is also an alumnus of the Business Bridge program at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.
