GreenGather is an event management platform dedicated to transforming how events are planned, managed, and executed to address environmental degradation caused by unsustainable practices. By seamlessly integrating with established platforms like Eventbrite and Cvent, GreenGather enhances their functionalities with sustainability-focused features, making eco-conscious event planning accessible and efficient. The venture has raised $143,000 and is developing a prototype based on insights from customer discovery interviews with organizations such as Greenbiz and The Rockefeller Foundation.

The Environmental Sustainability Entrepreneurship Program empowers impact-driven entrepreneurs who are building ventures to solve critical environmental challenges in underserved communities. Through this fully-funded initiative, we support both nonprofit and for-profit leaders whose businesses address pressing climate action, clean energy, and sustainable resource management needs in the Denver metro area. This comprehensive program provides award-winning training, dedicated mentorship, and sustained support to entrepreneurs whose ventures create lasting environmental and social impact where it’s needed most.

- In-Person Immersive: Saturday, August 9, 2025 (10 AM – 6 PM MT), in Denver, CO.
- In-Person Summit: Tuesday, December 2, 2025
Time Commitment
- Weekly Sessions: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 10:00 AM -12:00 PM MT (GMT-6)
- Total Weekly Commitment: 8–10 hours/week
Core Components
- Virtual Workshops: Interactive online sessions with your cohort
- Basecamp: Lead a 1-3 day impact workshop in your community
- In-Person Summit: Pitch to leaders, funders, and entrepreneurs
- Community Development Fund: Fellows will receive financial support to plan and execute their Basecamp—an interactive, community-focused workshop.

You are an entrepreneur or community leader with experience addressing environmental challenges. Your venture focuses on environmental sustainability solutions, and preference will be given to those working on climate solutions.
Venture Stage
Your nonprofit or for-profit organization has demonstrated traction, with an established business model addressing environmental sustainability challenges including climate action, clean energy, or sustainable resource management. You’re actively serving communities across the Denver Metro area, and you’re ready to scale your impact with dedicated mentorship and resources.

Applicants must be creating measurable impact in communities across the Denver Metro area. You must be able to commit to the full program designed to help advance your environmental sustainability enterprise.
What You Will Receive
Through the fully-funded Environmental Sustainability Entrepreneurship Program, supported by JPMorganChase Foundation and powered by Watson Institute, you’ll gain the tools, mentorship, and network needed to scale your venture’s impact. The program is specifically optimized for environmental sustainability ventures, with carefully selected facilitators, mentors, and speakers who bring deep expertise in climate action, clean energy, and sustainable resource management.
Application Process
1. Submit Your Application Candidadtes complete the online application in approximately 30 minutes. Submit by the priority deadline of June 22, 2025, for early consideration. Applications will continue to be reviewed on a rolling basis until all spots are filled.
2. Application Review Our Admissions Committee evaluates applications to identify innovative entrepreneurs with scalable ventures and strong potential for impact. Early applicants receive priority consideration.
3. Interview Selected candidates will be invited to a 20-minute Zoom interview to share their entrepreneurial journey, discuss their venture’s vision for growth, and explore how the Fellowship aligns with their goals.
4. Final Selection & Enrollment Final decisions will be announced by July 15, 2025. Accepted applicants must confirm their enrollment to secure their spot. The program begins on August 9, 2025.

Creating Lasting Impact: Empower Your Community with Basecamps
As a core component of the Environmental Sustainability Entrepreneurship Program, you will design and lead a 1-3 day Basecamp—an interactive, community-focused workshop that strengthens your leadership skills, expands your network, and provides valuable feedback. Fellowships powered by Watson Institute receive a high volume of applications and generally have a 2-8% acceptance rate.
What do the in-person components entail?
- Fellows will participate in multiple in-person sessions throughout the Fellowship, including a 1-day Immersive on Saturday, August 9, 2025 (10 AM – 6 PM MT), in Denver, CO.
- In addition to the Immersive, fellows will engage in regular in-person gatherings, approximately once per month. These sessions will provide opportunities for deeper connection, collaboration, and learning within the cohort.
- Participants will also facilitate a Basecamp event in their communities during the program and have the option to organize local meet-ups with other fellows in their areas.
