Retail Readiness Training Progam Alum Launches Baltimore’s First Vertical Farm at Langston Hughes Community Business Center

A Watson Institute Retail Readiness Training Program (RRTP) alum is making headlines with the launch of Baltimore’s first Grow Well vertical farm, now operating out of the Langston Hughes Community Business Resource Center.

The new vertical farm represents a major milestone for Baltimore’s local food ecosystem, bringing innovative, sustainable agriculture directly into the community while expanding access to fresh, locally grown produce.

This achievement highlights the impact RRTP alumni continue to make by applying business training to address real community needs, in this case, food access, sustainability, and local economic development.

We’re proud to see RRTP alumni leading with innovation and purpose, and we look forward to following the continued growth of Grow Well in Baltimore.
