PAKISTAN

I want to establish an organization that provides professional opportunities for Pakistani women who want to build or resume their professional careers after delaying or taking a break from them to focus on their families. My organization will train such women in modern technology, contemporary business practices and hard skills that will enable them to take up professional roles with partner non-profit organizations and contribute to their family's financial resources as well as national economy.

"You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view […] until you climb into his skin and walk around in it."
- Dan Brown

I did my Bachelors in Economics and Mathematics from Institute of Business Administration-Karachi, Pakistan. I have served as a cultural ambassador of Pakistan to United States under Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange and Study program. I was selected to represent Pakistan at Better Understanding for Better World Conference at Baltimore in 2011. I have worked on social and cultural projects with UNICEF and U.S. Department of State. I have also worked as a research assistant with Planning and Development Department, Government of Sindh. I love reading, singing and meeting people from different backgrounds. I am passionate about celebrating diversity, bringing a positive difference in the society and building a more tolerant world.
