Schuyler Van Sickle

A recent graduate from the University of Colorado- Boulder: Leeds School of Business, Schuyler earned his Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Operations Management, however, his passions lie with his certificates in Entrepreneurial Studies and Socially Responsible Enterprises. Not only does Schuyler consider himself an entrepreneur, he considers himself a social entrepreneur. Schuyler is always using his critical-thinking skills to promote positive change in any organization involved with, always looking at ideas from all dimensions, from big picture to tiny details. Often his own most effective critic, Schuyler is constantly examining his goals, his motives, and priorities- and notably- both his successes and failures.

One of Schuyler’s biggest passions is food and fixing today’s broken food systems. He and his team have developed an agribusiness company called Future Farms targeted at localized farming. Future Farms designs and builds aquaponic farming technologies that help to increase small and urban farming productivity and profitability by three fold. This farming technology is extremely sustainable and utilizes several closed-loop practices. Schuyler is attending to Watson to optimize and scale Future Farms and himself as a social business leader.
