Norman Mthethwa
SOUTH AFRICA
My venture focuses on providing water access by installing boreholes and properly maintaining them and water saving knowledge to a community that I grew up in. The plan is to get excess water that can be used to start agricultural practices to help women and children generate an income so that they can be able to access better health care, send their children to school, improve their hygiene, improve sanitation, etc. It also intend to use education to inspire young people to enact change, maintain the boreholes and get the whole community involved in creating water strategies.

A bit about Norman
I was born and raised in South Africa. I am an alumni of Imagine scholar, an educational non-profit based in the Nelspruit area in South Africa. For the past three years I was enrolled at the University of Pretoria and part of the the Enactus society which partially led me to the idea of my venture.
