Geva Segal is passionate about solving grand challenges by using the exponential growth of advanced technology and out-of-the-box thinking. His diverse technological background together with his genuine love of people, allow him to develop a creative mindset and work on problems that can save lives. During the last few years, Geva taught himself many program languages under many platforms such as Unity3D(C#), VS(C#), Java, JSP and PHP. Recently he developed an app on the first Augmented Reality headset available in the market. Last June, together with a team, he built a smart functioned junction model based on a traffic light system. This project aims to save lives by creating a smart light system based on computer vision technology and through that preventing accidents. Their work received a lot of attention and and Geva hopes to work on a bigger sized prototype during his time at Watson University. On his free time he enjoys running, playing tennis, and spending time with his friends.
